God is good! I love my son Noah. I miss my son Noah. However, as much as I hurt, as much as I miss him, I would never want to take him from God's presence in Heaven.
The body of Christ is amazing! Noah's teammates and MCA are clearly showing what it means to be in the body of Christ. Deora and I would like for you to share any stories or thoughts that you have of Noah. May we, the body of Christ, use this blog first to glorify our one and only God, and remember the joy He brought to us by knowing Noah.
Deora wants to make a scrapbook of these stories and thoughts for not only us and our children, but to share with others.
We love you,
Mike

My sister shared your story and blog with me. My heart is broken for you. I thank God that you can share your blessings with others through this time of great pain for your family. God never makes mistakes, though we often mistakenly interpret events through our human eyes. May the peace that surpasses ALL understanding wash over you as you continue one day at a time -- which is all we're ever given.
ReplyDeletePsalm 91: 11-12
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Wow... I know the world you knew that day was shattered and you were thrown into a new world that is forever changed. As your family gothrough the journey of learning how to live in this new world, please know that I, along with so many, continue to pray for you all. Your faith and love of God is amazing and will help you stand.
ReplyDelete“The rains fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.” Matthew 7:25
Through the rain we are seeing God bless us with His mercy. Because of Noah, hearts are being opened, families are talking, tears are being shed that need to be shed, lives are changing and we have the chance to draw closer to Him. We never truly loose the people we love. Noah will always participate in your acts, thoughts and the decisions you make. I hope everyday you are able to celebrate Noah. And on those days when it seems like an uphill struggle remember that it is just a bad day and tomorrow is a new one to celebrate him. When Eric and I listen to the song “Home Run” it brings a smile to our face and we think of Noah...
“I didn’t join this team to sit on the bench, I’m going deep, swinging for the fence. I got some friends on base, I gotta get home! Gotta keep your eye on the ball swing straight and through. Don't be afraid, what-ever the call. Because we’re never alone, our coach is there to cheer us on...Hey it's a home run"
Run, Noah run! You are home and wrapped in the loving embrace of your coach,Jesus Christ.
God's peace is Noah's. May God's peace be yours.

Tristan and I feel so blessed to have known Noah. My first memory is at the MCA resale in December 2007. Deora, you were the first mother I met at MCA. You were working and helped me figure you what Tristan needed to start MCA in January 2008. You told me that Noah had been praying for Tristan to come to MCA. That was so special to us that someone cared about Tristan.
ReplyDeleteTristan remembers MCA Expert Day when Noah's expertise was pitching and Tristan's was catching. Tristan said they made a great team. We were excited about possibly getting to play on Noah's baseball team this season and getting closer to your family.
You are all an inspiration to everyone. God has made you all so strong. Tristan came home Friday with one of Noah's webkins. Wow! That was so kind of you and meant so much to him. Tristan was the next to the last to choose which one he wanted. God was right there. The lizard was still available and was the one for him. When Tristan started MCA, Mrs. Purdum had Blitz as the class pet. Later that year he died and it really upset the class. Tristan wanted to buy a new lizard for the class. When we brought Spike to class, if I am remembering right, Noah got to help care for him that first day. So Tristan getting Noah's lizard was perfect. Tristan has carried it around all weekend and has named him "Noah Spike". On the way home Friday, he was really quiet. Just before we got home, he said he had a funny feeling in his chest and then he heard a voice say, "It's okay, Noah is with me!" Tristan knew it was God and it gave him peace.
Noah was a special young man and we will never forget him! Tessa and Tristan Miller
To this day Noah Pell ( my friend and team mate on the white sox and Durham bulls ) has been in my thought, and no matter where I am I can see his smile. He is a blessing and I hope one day to play ball with him again.
